Chapter 27: How to Forget the Boy You Loved

Have seen a few cases lately and received a fan mail or two that talks about it. Having not written for quite some time already, I decided to publish this chapter to help them both. Guys, do remember that, this article can also be practiced somewhat to help you move on. It's vice versa to be exact.

Forgetting love may be hard but sometimes things happen. Try forgetting him. Its just a waste of time loving someone that does not loves you. Be smart be confident.

Steps

1. Try distracting yourself. Play games and change your daily activities.
2. Meet people and find other boys that suits you. Firstly, it could be hard but it's worth it
3. Never think about the boy you loved. Remember to be strong.share your loneliness with a friend, siblings or classmates.
4. Never give up. Understand the purpose of you forgetting him and you will automatically realise how nonsensical you've been by loving the boy who did not love you.

Tips

  • Feel good about yourself always. Don't ever feel down or sad.always remember that its never your fault.
  • Remember to accept the truth that the one you have loved will never be yours.
  • Think that being in love with someone will not always have a happy ending like you see in the fairy tales.
  • Be positive and if you can think that many will be more deserving for your love.

Warnings

  • You may not succeed at first but continuous effort will definitely bear fruits.

Faith - something to believe in

I've seen this email a couple of times and I even use this example a dozen times too. But I've never had the chance to share it.

Today, since it re-appeared again, I think it's a hint to tell me I should share it before I missed it again.

This is an article about Faith and it's all about something to believe in and not argued about:

Professor : You are a Christian, aren’t you, son ?

Student : Yes, sir.

Professor: So, you believe in GOD ?

Student : Absolutely, sir.

Professor : Is GOD good ?

Student : Sure.

Professor: Is GOD all powerful ?

Student : Yes.

Professor: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to GOD to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But GOD didn’t. How is this GOD good then? Hmm?

(Student was silent.)

Professor: You can’t answer, can you ? Let’s start again, young fella. Is GOD good?

Student : Yes.

Professor: Is satan good ?

Student : No.

Professor: Where does satan come from ?

Student : From … GOD …

Professor: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student : Yes.

Professor: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it ? And GOD did make everything. Correct?

Student : Yes.

Professor: So who created evil ?

(Student did not answer.)

Professor: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they?

Student : Yes, sir.

Professor: So, who created them ?

(Student had no answer.)

Professor: Science says you have 5 Senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son, have you ever seen GOD?

Student : No, sir.

Professor: Tell us if you have ever heard your GOD?

Student : No , sir.

Professor: Have you ever felt your GOD, tasted your GOD, smelt your GOD? Have you ever had any sensory perception of GOD for that matter?

Student : No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.

Professor: Yet you still believe in Him?

Student : Yes.

Professor : According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says your GOD doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?

Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.

Professor: Yes, faith. And that is the problem Science has.

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Professor: Yes.

Student : And is there such a thing as cold?

Professor: Yes.

Student : No, sir. There isn’t.

(The lecture theatre became very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.

(There was pin-drop silence in the lecture theater.)

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Professor: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?

Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light. But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it is, were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?

Professor: So what is the point you are making, young man ?

Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Professor: Flawed ? Can you explain how?

Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good GOD and a bad GOD. You are viewing the concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, Science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing.

Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Professor: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument was going.)

Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor. Are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class was in uproar.)

Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?

(The class broke out into laughter. )

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room was silent. The Professor stared at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Professor: I guess you’ll have to take them on faith, son.

Student : That is it sir … Exactly ! The link between man & GOD is FAITH. That is all that keeps things alive and moving.

P.S.

I believe you have enjoyed the conversation. And if so, you’ll probably want your friends / colleagues to enjoy the same, won’t you?

Forward this to increase their knowledge … or FAITH.

Happy Easter & TGIGF!

Less than an hour ago, I went back to the scene where the incident that shook me for 24hours and made me mourn in respect for a cat.

When I went back there to pay my final respects, it was not there anymore. Earlier on, I had a thought and made a prayer out to the cat as well. Now, my prayers were answered and it is now brought home to the maker of this universe.

My loved ones had been texting me day in day out for the past 24hrs and I have been warmly comforted by each and every one of them. Even my cousins, near and far had consoled me to squeak a giggle.

To quote some of them, (it's kinda true to what they said & makes sense too), a cat has 9 lives and when they reached their 9th one, they just tend to commit suicide and run out of the road and get banged. Now I know what Sean Kingston meant when he sang that it was "Suicidal, Suicidal..."

Baby cheered me up the most. So kudos to you and thanks for your care.

Anyway, what made me really moved on after mourning for 24hrs is the fact that this incident happened on the 1st hour of Good Friday. Now, most of us had already learnt that Jesus sacrificed his life to be crucified on a cross to carry our sins away and then he rose up on the Sunday to which, christians would celebrate it as Easter Sunday.

I believe that the cat, un-intentionally, just as the lady who first banged it and incidentally caused it to be ran over by me too, had forgave and carried our sins along to heaven to meet our Creator. Letting us start anew, the cat sacrificed itself to lift up our burdens and I believe that now it's not there anymore is also a sign for it's own "rising" too.

With that, I had to say, TGIGF... Thank God, It's Good Friday. So, Happy Easter holidays to everyone.

The day I turned into a sinned killer

As I'm writing this, I'm still shaken by the thought of what I've just did.

I was on my way home, moments ago. About to reach and was traveling about 60kmph as my stretch of road is often a place for speed trap/road blocks. So, I obviously, I wouldn't be speeding.

There as a Toyota VIOS in front of me and I was at least 2 cars away from her. All of a sudden, the VIOS hit the emergency brake and smoke came out of the tyres. I too, had to brake. The shocking part was not the braking because I had enough good reflexes to handle it.

Out of a sudden, a white thing flew towards my car as I was in the midst of the brake and it happened so fast, I can't even recall what exactly happened or what it is. I was about 5 feet away from the VIOS and I knew in my head that we (VIOS and I) might have hit something.

We pulled aside and came down. As I approached the VIOS, a lady driver was pretty stunned (maybe cause she might have thought I was gonna come down and scold her for the emergency brake or something). I asked if she was ok and she tried to explain. Without hesitation, I ran towards the poor thing and there it was, a motionless cat with the eyes still opened. She apologized but I told her it's partly my fault too.

I moved the cat to the side of the road as she is still shaken by the impact. After examining the cat, I just concurred that there was nothing we could do for it but pray. There was no blood or any open wounds. By touching, I had to rely on my background knowledge to say it's suffered internal injuries and with the pupils dilated and motionless symptoms, It had to be dead on impact.

The lady asked if I was a vet and I told her, nope. But it's pretty obvious we could do no more with a motionless cat and eyes and mouth (kinda) wide open. She then asked if I mind to move it over there (a nearby more comfortable grass area) and so I obliged to rest the cat under a tree in a sleeping position.

I told the lady that it's the only thing we could possibly do for now and checked with her if she is still alright. She gave me a positive reply and said that she's just sadden by the incident. I told her that I'm also guilty as well because I am also involved in the taking away of the life of that incidental cat too. But there was nothing we could do. (Note to reader: You know what I meant. Act of God, kind of stuff)

We got back to our cars and just before I reached mine, she just checked with me. Yup, I still know what's my name, thank you... errr... (don't be surprised, I didn't ask her name back. I was still heart broken by the fact that I became a second degree killer and gave the animal activist another reason to hate me.)

So, we parted ways and 3mins later, I was washing my hand with antiseptic etc. Then, the urge to write this note to self and remember the cat forever in my life.

Dear Cat, I'm so sorry that I hit you out of incidental and I didn't mean it. I feel guilty and wished I could get the SPCA or something to save you but our actions have had its consequences. I will always remember this wrong doing I did and admit that I had sinned regardless that I'm the 2nd degree killer or not. I can only pray for your soul to rest in peace. With Love.
