Learning today that a neutral friend decides to delete me and my partner isn't something I am happy to hear about. I have always thought that grown men will know how to face the issue maturely and handle it well. I could even rather understand it if it would had came from a teenager but one that is half a lifetime spent on earth by now?
Ok, enough with that issue now. But what about the fact that someone you really want to be great friends with actually decides to keep the distance due to different gender and the reason being is that its better for the partner to get along with me. There will also be no conflict or reason of blame should any arise. So, I actually gain someone and lose another instead. The most surprising thing of all is that, the gap that I wanted ends up being the privacy I don't want. Somehow, I just feel more empty than before. Is it even a mistake to open up the opportunity. Should I had just stayed with the complicated relationship I used to have and let problems actually become more and more. Could my decision to eliminate many problems be wrong to create one BIG problem instead?
Looks like the sacrifice wasn't worth it. I gain someone but I lost the group (which insisted they would never do such a thing but turns out, actions speak otherwise). I am truly not happy with that. And neither am I happy about the fact that no one would see it our way of having just a plain slow and steady life.
For your information, we will know when we need our privacy and space. We wish to still be active among the group and that doesn't change anything after my announcement. And we certainly do not need to be deleted either. If you think you are a better man than me, please by all means convince us. Competition is welcomed. It does not mean such disappointing activities is encouraged.
But last and not least... I may lose everyone in the world, but how could I lose you? The One I trusted most, believed in most, look upon most, depended on most and once gave my entire life to... If honestly asked, I can tell you I'd rather turn back the hands of time and never had set foot into the Group (not that I'm selfish or anything) but I preferred to have the old times of us in eternal happiness. Between the both of you, I'd not hesitate and choose "You"...
