Tiring day for me today after being up and about for the entire day. At first I thought I would be late for many things but it just turns out that traffic was in favor of me instead. Mc D breakfast was suppose to happen from 9ish or probably 10 if it was going to be a long journey. Turns out, I could arrive within 30mins instead after driving from one end of klang valley to the other.
ok fine, it was worth the sausage mcmuffin with egg and a nice cuppa tea. Oh yeah, as per what Jason Pinto had said, we've still got the aussie slang around.. whahahaha... anyway, I didn't have breakfast with him cause he's in Singapore and I'm not. Refilled the tea and looked at the time; still early. Fine, chatted and gossip more to know that poor brother-friend of ours happens to be in some sort of dilemma.
Our conclusion? Just don't be so paranoid and think so much. Go for it. If you don't, she would eventually go to someone else. It's either you or another better man. As for another brother of ours, PHEEEEWWWWIIIITTTTTTT..... good choice and good luck now that your missile has been launched. There's no turning back now. So, I hope its right and you do bring back good news and share the positivity aura once the mission is accomplished.
Oh yeah, Li Lian suggested a good movie she watched just now at Midvalley. I saw the same trailer just now when I was watching The Switch. I can still laugh at thinking the resemblance with poor Ray. RED is my next movie on the list. LOLz
Well, next today was about the long dinner (which was suppose to be lunch actually) with Diana Jie. Grant took Ethan and her along and we had Japanese buffet dinner. I'm so full I can barely walk. We had so much salmon I think we almost had the whole fish. I also started to notice that Baby Ethan has a thing with all the beautiful girls in the restaurant. Oh wow.. he can even flirt with them. Though he was kinda naughty and seeks attention here and there cause it was just way passed his bed time. He had a big appetite too. Anyway, Grant, Diana Jie and I talked business as usual and decided to venture into the local and regional sector for his Green Technology business. I think its really good and I'm accepting the proposal too. Good sector and it's something new and interesting anyway. Well, gonna spend more time with my little nephew before he goes back tomorrow to Singapore. Oh, that reminds me, gotta check where I put my next month's Singapore trip itinerary. Hmm... forgetful and careless lately. Hahahhaa...
Lastly, most close friends asked me a very good question and wanted to know but Sing Yee won the prize instead. Hahaha... Yes, UNIQLO + New Exec Dir. = my sudden return. I've also being re-elected as the ED for M.A.C. 3 weeks back too. I'll also have to take care of things as part of the board for Fahrenheit as well as the upcoming H&*. Sorry, this one cannot disclose yet. But its just a matter of time.
However, I will also be leaving PG&G Pte Ltd effective 1st Nov. I'm glad to hear that Maggie will be succeeding me there. Halliday and his wife is in town as well and they're gonna be waiting for our new announcement for replacing Bruce McIntyre's office tenure. Bruce will be going to Taipei to replace Bennet's portfolio since his demise. Me? Poor me... I've gotta take up his RDT&E Division instead. Well, temporarily and won't exceed till March.
Tong Tong will be in Singapore for 6 months for training too. Good for her. When she completes it, she will be able to join our Management Committee. Woohoo~! Her boss has vacated the Senior Manager office for almost 2 months now. He had to be the GM II after Stella is extending her maternity leave for another 6 mths. Funny, when I saw her last week at the Etihad Stadium (Docklands), she looked like she hadn't given birth and was in good shape. Well maintained I guess. Her boss is waiting for her to come back to take over his place as SGM then he can retire.
Oh, I forgot to buy the book at Borders today. *DUMMY ME* oh well... i was really into reading it till I lost my catch of time and I guess it's a good excuse for to run back there again. hehehe...
I'm kinda surprised that there's actually people who write and comment about sitcoms. Ok-ok, the book is called 30 Rock and philosophy. It's got Tina Fey on the front cover and the authors actually talk a lot about the cast and the characters in the show itself. Like why is Kenneth's behaviour is like that and discuss about his childhood etc. It also talks about Liz Lemon's dilemma with controlling her show and the most interesting of all... Jack's love life from all seasons. They even have columns that touch on very silent characters like poor o' Jonathan and not forgetting about Grease and Dotcom too.
I'm just waiting for the day the book about Big Bang Theory comes out and I'll read that too. Oh, time to go, they're showing How I Met Your Mom 4 on Fox. =) Don't you just love NBC shows. God Bless America... hahaha
