Kanye West awful treatment of Taylor Swift at the Video Music Awards in New York has presidential disapproval. President Obama reportedly called Kanye West a "jackass" yesterday in reference to his drunken crashing of Taylor Swift's VMAs acceptance speech. Check out what ABC News' Terry Moran posted on his Twitter yesterday (since deleted):
Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a "jackass" for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential.
The comment was tweeted then removed by ABC News Terry Moran because he is an idiot, an untrustworthy idiot. Obama called Kanye West a "jackass" in an off-the-record statement but as the second journalist Terry "Moron" Moran is, he ran to his Twitter page and to the world something Obama clearly wanted off the record. Terry "Moron" Moran must of missed the journalism 101 class on journalistic ethic. According to Politico:
Although it wasn't long before Moran removed it, with over a million followers, the tweet quickly bounced around Twitter through various users.
Now, an ABC spokesperson explains to POLITICO what happened:
"In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again."
